James Harley
Harley & the Riders

James Harley was first introduced to the country music community when he won the Marlboro Country Music contest. The contest not only provided Jim with a cash award, but also brought National Media attention to this Mid-Western singer/songwriter. Jim went on to win the Wrangler Country Showdown and the True Value GMC Truck Country Music contest.
Jim has opened over sixty concerts for well known country acts including, Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney, Diamond Rio, George Jones, Reba McEntire, Patty Loveless, Joe Diffie, Willie Nelson, Alabama, Lee Greenwood, George Strait, Tracy Lawrence, Tracy Byrd, Oakridge Boys, Waylon Jennings, Emerson Drive, Lila McCann, Restless Heart, David Allen Coe, Ricky Van Shelton, Merle Haggard, Creedence Clearwater, Wynona, Confederate Railroad, and many others.
Jim has recorded two albums in Nashville, one with Grammy Award winning producer, Jim Cotton, who sadly passed away a few years ago and more recently with Clyde Brooks, a top tier Nashville producer, who has recorded Dolly Parton, Kenny Chesney, Kenny Rogers, and other top acts.
His third album, "Bad Reputation ," expected to be released by Windgate Records in the fall of 2007, brings to a culmination Jim's talents as an artist and producer. Players on the album include such greats as Jeff King, lead guitar, from Reba McIntire's band and Jimmy Nichols, keyboards, from Faith Hill; so, you know that this is a CD that you will want to own and listen to over and over again!
